My recent experiments with eating one meal a day have led me to wonder what I truly need in life.
When I was younger, I felt the need to do so many things. Make music, build and create for websites, deep dive into vintage gaming, brew beer, write stories, know everything about professional wrestling; the list goes on.
As I get older, I find I need very little, and want even less.
I am driven to read, write, learn, share, and live a simple life. A part of me wants to write a book of what I've learned; another thinks it a foolish task. Perhaps continuing to work with ideas I've gathered will reveal the answer.
I also wonder what else I will no longer need as time goes on; only time will tell.

I followed a curiosity a few years ago to find out the amount of weeks I've been alive. I did the math, and if the day I was born is week 1, day 1, I'm currently at week 2368, day 2 (as seen above in parentheses).
I heard about the idea from a book titled "Four Thousand Weeks" by Oliver Burkeman; it's a time management book that states the average person has around four thousand weeks to live. I found a copy and it's on my list to read and review.
What struck me most about the idea is putting a number on the finiteness of time we have on Earth and how to use it in the best way. After almost 30 years of twiddling about online, I want to use this platform to share what I've learned.
