It's going to take me a while to get this page filled out, as I've released many albums over the years. A lot of them are on streaming platforms, though my goal is to get most everything up on my Bandcamp page. A lot of it is already there, but there are definitely more releases in my archives.
A lot of the music I've made over the years was helped along by these tools:
Audiobulb Ambient - this is a tool I've used heavily over the past nine years for most of my albums. It turns standard pieces into washes of sound, and I find the listening experience very interesting. I'm also using it for my sample-based album to run the samples through before I start sequencing them in the following program.
ModPlug Tracker / OpenMPT - the current project is called OpenMPT, though the copy of the program I use is from when it was known as ModPlug Tracker. I've started using this more recently due to liking the quick loading times and the ease of tracking. I've used it on a few pieces in the past; most notably the two tracks I did for this compilation under the project name of Mystic Nova.
Goldwave - I've used Goldwave for audio production since the late 1990s, and it's still one of my favorite audio editing tools. They've kept it mostly the same over the years, with adding more and more useful features over the years.
REAPER - this has been my main DAW since the early 2000s; the one I used before was made by the Goldwave programmers (called Multiquence). It's easy to work with and the VST library it has available is quite vast. I've found some pretty handy VSTs over the years and I hope to use more of them with my upcoming works.
Reason - though I haven't used this since a laptop crash a few years ago, this was my staple sequencing program for about 20 years. I was using a very old version of it (they're on v14, I used v3), but I kept finding new ways to work with things. If I wasn't trying to get away from Windows completely, I'd probably go back to it. I'm still digging into Linux music programs, though I have used some for one of my pieces (which I'll write about more later).
